Rainmaker is acommon data fabric that willenablecurrentlyincompatible systems across joint mission spaces to seamlessly share, secure and synchronize data required to coordinate complex combat operations.The solutionisa foundational layerforthe Department of Defense’s Joint All Domain Command & Control (JADC2) conceptthat willenable data sharing acrossall U.S. military domains includingland, sea, air,spaceand cyberspace.

As the prime contractor for this award,ĢƵ Allen willapplyits diverse expertisein software development,data engineering,DevSecOps, Artificial Intelligence(AI), and cloudcomputingto create a data fabricbased on anopen systemsarchitecture andcommon standardsso that data is easilydiscoverable, accessible, synchronized and securedacrossthe Department of Defense. The firm willprovide a range ofstate-of-the-artdata services including a distributed cloud architecture; aunified and harmonizedcross-functionaldatastorethat includes structured, unstructured, semi-structured, and binary data;anadvanced analytics frameworkthat supports capabilities including machine learning; and APIs that use open standards to enable existing and new programs to ingestbothbatch and streaming, high-velocity data.
